Earn & Learn Nurse Aide Program

We're looking for passionate and caring individuals who desire to become Certified Nurse Aides (CNA). Certified Nurse Aides deliver professional nursing care to our Kūpuna, residents, and guests. Upon successful completion of the Nurse Aide Training Program, you will receive job placement at one of OPH's many facilities across the State of Hawaii. If you are a future Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) interested in working with a diverse group of Kūpuna in a role that allows for developing additional Nursing skills, we NEED you.​​

 

Nurse Aide Training will be available on Kauaʻi and Hilo.

We are looking for Part-Time and Full-Time availability.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Must be at least 18 years old
     

After Successful Completion of the Training, You Will:

  • Obtain State of Hawaii CNA Certification

  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS, ACLS, or First Aide and CPR

  • Must be willing to float between designated facilities
